If I would be the Rams GM I would ask for two 1st round picks. One in 2023 and one in 2024.
Maybe sent back a 3rd rounder in 2024. Anything less for JR is not enough. Think about what the Seahawks gave up for S Adams couple seasons ago.Ramsey is an All pro CB still in his prime.
Maybe I would go as low as a first rounder in 2023 and a 2nd rounder in 2024.
If Morris continues to play his bend but dont brake defense a shutdown cb like Ramsey has not as much value as when you play a more aggressive scheme.
For the Rams a trade like that would mean they basically get a 2 for 1 switch in 2023 . They can use the pick on a much needed edge or a cb to replace JR. Both positions usually do not take that long to get acclimated to the NFL. Look how many rookie cbs made an impression last season on various teams. With the cap money saved Rams can bring in an o-lineman.
And with the other pick it would put the Rams in good position to move up in the draft to snag one of the QBs coming out next season.
