Correct. I like Stafford I wore his jersey as I watched the playoffs last year and the superbowl last year that he won. I still don't even put him in MVP discussions with Mahomes and a few of the very popular and exciting QBs. If he retired today I would not expect him to be a HOF or even in the class of some HOF QBs including Kurt Warner.
Stafford is a gifted gunslinger and he is not a tactician nor is he laser accurate. He just is a guy with moxy and ability who likes his own odds of beating competitors when he is able to throw the football to exceptional WRs. He could not have done what Mahomes did this past year even with good protection. He'd be looking for Kupp over Robinson even if Kupp were traded to Miami. That's just the facts as I see them.
