Nobody can hit with all their picks. The can't miss high picks miss half the time. As you go down the draft the chances go down as well.
Sure you might pick Tom Brady in the 6th round and he'll win you 7 Super Bowls, but the odds are against it. It's really not that Tutu was such a bad pick. The problem was Humphrey was there and we passed on him. That Walker kid wasn't a big surprise for the Seahawks. He was a Heisman finalist. Most of the big stars in college have a shot to become big stars on Sundays. Most of the unknowns don't make it and remain unknown. I have to admit I've been reading these mock drafts and never heard of any of these guys. I think we should add some good young talent, but, I doubt we'll see any rookie make a huge impact. McVay uses vets and he has a small championship window. With 10 picks you hope to hit on four. We need 2 TEs, 2 OL, 2 RBs, a CB, a safety, maybe a kicker, a backup QB, 2 DTs, an edge rusher or 2. That's like 14. Lots of work to do.
