According to overthecap.com [overthecap.com] AD has a cap hit of $26M this season.

Trading him before June 1 would result in $41M in dead money against the 2023 cap.

IOW, trading AD would increase his cap hit by $15M.

Also of note, AD has a no trade clause in his contract.
