The Chiefs had at least one rookie playing corner and the long ball to AJ Brown showed the inexperience of the Chief’s DB in sighting the ball. Otherwise he had good coverage.
Three of the four starting DBs for KC were rookies.
And not one single HOF'er on that D yet they still won using a "pressure" D. Pretty impressive. Spags is pretty d#mn good DC. His "system" works and has won him many rings with it including beating those undefeated Pats a few years ago!
2 SB wins in the last 4 years tells me that a "pressure" D still can win in the NFL if done correctly. The Charmin Shell is not the "wave of the future" and it is not the only way to win in the NFL. No matter how much people try to convince us it is.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
