I mean, if soft coverage eliminates pass rush, then how did we manage to harass every QB in the playoffs last year? We stone cold shut down 3 out of the 4 offenses we faced. Trust me. If soft coverage was so easy to beat, no one would run it and dinking and dunking would be the solution every time you saw it. If the Rams add more capable corners who can mirror route patterns then you can't sink and dunk. You'll be throwing it right into a defenders hands (like Darius Williams).

To answer your question, IMO, we were able to "harass" all those QB's due to having 3 HOF'ers on the same unit. Miller was a beast at the end of the year. AD was also a beast. Having Ramsey also helped that pass rush.

Even with those 3 HOF'ers. we still only won each game by 3 points.

Do you think we would've been worse by playing more "pressure" RR? KC didn't have any future HOF'ers on the D and they did ok running a pressure concept. Spags has won quite a few rings running that system.

I still have nightmares seeing Brady march down that field in Tampa this year!
