Bad as the call was it didn't ruin the game for me...

February 12, 2023 07:52PM
and let me be clear... it WAS a bad call. KC was in control. Had been the entire 2nd half. I don't think the 'bad call' made any difference in the outcome. BUT...

We'll never know.. and that's really the point. And I admit that.

Surely some of you felt the same as I did and that nearly from the opening kickoff.. KC was going to win that game. I picked the Eagles, btw. But early on I saw.... wellll, "felt', that the Eagles, tough as they were.... just didn't have that 'it' factor it takes to win most SB's.

As a non-fan of either team what interested me most was the QB comparison... Hurts threw some astounding completions that game, a LOT due to his receivers but also... he put the ball in the right place where his receivers COULD make some great receptions. As the loser that will probably be little noted... but I believe he threw more truly great passes than Mahomes did. And no, I'm not saying he outplayed Mahomes. Passing is not the only way to judge QB play.

And lastly I just want to say.... neither of those teams today could have beat our '21 Rams SB Champs. - JamesJM
