If the Rams can pull that off they will emerge from this draft with a good haul. This means they avoid mistakes like having undersized wideouts like Tutu way up there on a board where there are better quality options. Or a guy like Lewis in a range where you have players who can get off the trainer table.
Rams in general need to properly downgrade the injury risk types. They have slowly loaded this team with too much injury risk IMO, it's time to take that the other direction by prioritizing guys who can be available.
Also upside picks have burned us. Quit with that. I don't want corners like Rochell. I want more corners like Durant. Guys with ball skills and awareness.
Physicality or lack thereof has burned us. I don't want another passcatchy RB addition. Add one who can eat carries to backup Akers. I don't want another passcatchy TE addition. Add one who can win in the run game off tackle and he'll get open plenty when you roll him into soft spots in zone. That's what they need to prioritize. The right stuff.
Good as McVay is he has blind spots. Most of them have to do with disregard of physicality too. Fix that in your board stacking and get that thing right and everything will fall into place.
