this introduction, which occurred just after the pregame. That was perhaps the best opening of any NFC Championship game ever. I love the music, the history (Butkus, Sayers, Halas), and the part where Ditka is getting his player fired up. I lived in Chicago that season and watched all of the Bears games. I was fortunate to attend one of them at Solider Field and to attend their Super Bowl celebration on a bitter cold day. Always a Rams fan, but it would have been a shame if the Rams had pulled off an upset that day. That Bears team was the greatest NFL team of my lifetime and also perhaps the most colorful. Of course, the Rams had ZERO chance of winning that game.
