Brown is more valuable to Sean than you think. What's more, he has received so many interviews because he's so respected by his peers. Trying to build a narrative based on this year's injury debacle is lazy, stupid, and unfair. I boggles my mind how people with a tiny fraction of the talent and experience this guy has think they know whether or not he would make an excellent coordinator. Sean McVay was an offensive assistant on 3-13 team before he got promoted. I think it worked out for him.
