Good lord, what is with people these days? (Not anyone in particular, they know who they are lol ) No sense of humor. Taking things on the internet too seriously. Expecting everyone to be boring and behind the times as they are.
It's not 1929 anymore. Times have changed. I know it's hard to understand things that the younger crowd does and why they do it. I don't "get it" all either but that's life.
If you can't keep up with life and follow what is going on, it will pass you by and leave you miserable and complaining about peoples opinions you don't agree with on an internet message board or something!
I say, don't read too much into it brother. Just because it's not funny to you doesn't mean it isn't funny to someone else. It was obviously funny to AD.
