I think there's another couple issues

The loss of players and coaches once you're a yearly contender...
And paying people.
All those young QBs in the afc (sans Mahomes) are on their first contract ... as is Hurts.
And the chiefs definitely missed tyreek hill.
What is happening to us is still going to happen to those other franchises.
Our ability to retain players has so far been somewhat doable, but we haven't kept coaches and we lost the head of our scouting department.
These teams will have to face that. 40-50 million for a QB ... loss of talented players and coaches.
That's why when they mention Philly they mention the GM.
It's why when I think of our continued grasp on success I think of snead.
