Not sure if that was directed at me but I have never called Stafford mediocre. But as long as we are on the topic, he isn't elite either. I would put him in the 8-12 range. Even in the SB year, he had 17 picks and had an egregious throw that Tartt dropped that could have easily ended the run.
Last season he definetely was top 3 IMHO.
With no running game to speak of the 17 INTs were inevitable. The man was money when the Rams needed him the most.
Overall and speaking as of today I still would see him top 5-10
On top Mahomes. Then Burrow, Allen, Herbert. After them Lawrence, Hurt,Stafford, Rodgers, Brady in no particular order.
With a better o-line Stafford will have a very good season in 23.
