Yes, agreed the edge / pressure on the QB to tandem with Donald is the top tier component.
But I'm more compelled to "Buy that Player" on the market than draft him, as of right now
It just feels to me that the Golden Gopher center would be the clear cut choice.
If you don't score points, you don't win games.
The club was beyond anemic in that category.
The main issue remains pressure up the middle.
Even my wife exclaimed that if we don't get this offense right, it won't make any difference that we can get 3 and outs all day long. It's going to be; "Can you light the scoreboard?"
If we're buying a high priced OL, I only expect that to be at the tackle spot.
This is January, so I can change my mind, but right now? That's the answer.
