Great Post
McVay/Snead are as good as I have seen. I remember the George Allen years as a kid and those great teams in the mid to late 60's. I loved the Dickerson years but wish we had a QB. Ground Chuck Knox & Robinson were good coaches but they focused on a ground game with a solid defense. Dicky V was great but only here a few years. Martz was the Mad Scientist that went Mad and lost perspective and screwed up Warner.
Seems like we went 30 years before we had a decent front office. Snead is great when combined with McVay though I think he would be great paired with right coach. Fisher was a disaster has he had to much power and too little brains.
Leo, thanks for reminding me of the past which puts things in perspective and makes one appreciate just how good things have been recently and that we still have a bright future and a top flight organization. There really is a lot to be thankful for. .
