Passing on Walsh was probably the biggest gaffe in franchise history. Still makes me ill.
There was no guarantee that Walsh would have had the same success in L.A. that he did in SF. Different owner and management. Different players. Different draft spots.
Maybe his "system" doesn't fit our players or our FO doesn't support him enough. We just don't know.
Weren't the whiners doing "illegal" things to keep and acquire all the players they had?
