He helped revive the team in many ways. We can forget (block out?...) just how
truly abysmal the Rams were from 2007-2011.

tied for the worst 5-year stretch in NFL history- and most of the losses were blowouts while some of the wins were fluky or vs. similarly bad teams.
Fisher came in and a year later they go 7-8-1 in the toughest division in the league. At one point in late 2014 he was 20-24-1 as Rams HC (.456). But he just couldn't take them above that (another 7-9 year in 2015) and then finally slid back down.
