Fisher got people talking about the Rams again and his 8-8 record was 3 or 4 games better than his predecessors. If he could have moved on from his prehistoric offensive philosophy his defenses were good enough to compete.

I agree. Fisher brought back some much needed leadership and respectability and good talent. #
His downfall as you said was his unwillingness to adapt a different approach on offense.
Did a much better job than some of the hot shot coordinators the Rams tried. Linehan, Spagnuolo.Martz,Haslett, Brooks.
