It was one of those 'it's over', 'no we're in it', 'no now it's over for sure', 'no we're back in it'... type of games. Emotionally draining. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
talking youth Jr's, my youngest grandson.. who scored the winning TD. Final score 6-0 us.. it was a hell of game. But as for HS and the playoffs and making it with only 3 wins. To be honest with you... I'm too tired tonight to get into it so I'll just give you the basics. They're using a computer rating system... (to a point)... so the worse you do you drop down in divisions. We startedby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Told you California is insane. At a playoff game so can’t explain now. I’ll get back tonight.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Don't ask me why or how. Central Calif. HS Football has gone insane. :laughing BUT... it means I get to watch my grandson play at least one more game. Last night 188yds rushing and 3TD's. Only 85yds passing but they weren't throwing much last night. And today... youth football's 1st playoff game for my youngest grandson... Jr's. Taking off now, wish us luck. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
And I'm not sure I can think of an exception where a player won him over? Note: just an observation, not presented as 'good' or 'bad'. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
With Az still ahead on the schedule the current 'tie' in the NFC West is just that... doesn't matter that Az leads because of Head to Head. Ram's control their own destiny. Only way for the Rams to NOT win the division is to lose... with all wins they're the NFC West Champs. Unlikely? Yeah, perhaps... but that doesn't change things either. Ram's win out and they're champs.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Fresno, (closest big city to me), had one of the first McD's ever built... and it's still there. It's been remodeled but hasn't gone to the 'new' style as yet. I wonder if there are any of the original designs still in operation? - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
the new ones. And I mean Kerman, Ca... not my home town. My home town still has Mom's, built in the 60's. :laughing Completely agree... ugly. Worse than ugly actually.. hideous and a blight on the landscape. BUT... this could turn into a Ram's uni thing - "JamesJM... everything 'new' is better. Get with the times. It's a bold new world". Bold perhaps... but definitely uglier.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
No idea what it was called. I remember playing a lot of 4-Square. Dodgeball... and tetherball but I was terrible at tetherball. I think it was the 4th but maybe the 5th grade that team sports begin and if you played them then all the other playground games ended. I played them all... football, basketball, baseball, and track. That was all we had when I was in grammar school.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
all negligence is not the same. Some more profound. Nor is the result of the negligence always the same. If my negligence simply hurts someone's feelings then that person is entitled to a lot less than if my negligence led to a death. And I don't equate incompetence to negligence.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
If you're talking about killing someone I go out of business. No chance are my employees condemned for life. If you're talking about offending someone.. then self-preservation.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
that GB can pull it off. and to be honest... Although yes, sure, absolutely, I'd like the Cards to go down tonight... there is something to be said by trailing AZ by a single game and thus keeping the pressure on. No chance of going into 'coasting mode' that way. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
It came in this morning. Setup was quite simple. Slightly time consuming but not bad at all. Customizing some settings was more tedious... for example: Notifications... at first the damn thing was going off constantly. I shut that down quickly. So do I like it? Too early to say. it does, however, seem like it will be handy.... that is, more convenient than having to go to my phone forby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
But first... I'm not really referring to this particular case... even though it most likely applies. I don't understand how people, almost without exception, can live with the guilt when something like this happens. Don't understand how their first reaction is self-preservation. Now that's never happened to me, obviously... so I can't say how I'd react... but it seems to me nobody could blby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I am not only impressed with your ability but in today's game this info is very valuable. Many times I've questioned various moves made by teams, seeming to make no sense to me, then I read the cap explanations and it begins to make sense.... even if I don't quite understand it all. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

My oldest grandson's HS Varsity football team played Taft in a playoff game. It was the first time we had ever played Taft. But not just that - It was the first time I had ever been to Taft in my life, even though it's not that far from my home. My whole life I had wondered about Taft... never having been there. Driving down I-5 in that area I'd often look over to where I knew Taft had toby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
One of the most sorrowful things about your kids, grandkids, growing up is leaving behind your favorite TV Shows, Movies. When my oldest grandson first began watching TV the hit was "Thomas The Tank Engine"... together we watched them all. Every evening we watched it. Live on TV, then we started buying the VHS's tapes. We had them all... and probably still do - put up in some boby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
As you probably remember I lost my home to a fire back in 1991. The worst thing about a fire is the loss of your memorabilia. Assuming, of course, no one is hurt. As I read the news this morning that came to mind because Reno's was filled with... geez, maybe 75 years of history? Sports, hunting, farming, ancestral memorabilia. I haven't heard how extensive the damage was but the few photby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Got a text from my daughter this morning with photos she got on Facebook showing that "Renos"... the bar I was going to be playing at, burned last night. Not a total but severe damage. Reno's is a landmark for Kerman.. I think the only tavern in the town? It's a combo Tavern, Restaurant, Bowling Alley. We've played there many many times over the years. Several items I've ordered lately have been delayed.... a couple of them for close to a year now. I cancelled those but check back periodically. I haven't started shopping as yet but mentioned to my wife that we need to get going. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

that if it ever became possible that would be the area of the world I'd choose to live. I don't mean Santa Fe itself, although maybe... but the 4 Corners area...not right on 4 corners. Mind if I get a little esoteric? I have traveled a good portion of the world, MOST of the USA.... no where, no where else, did I have the sense that the land, the geography, was more alive than we as humansby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
as I said early... more than one can be guilty of 'neglect'... and in this case wow, what you said... it's bad. I suppose one can say a 'good' will come out of this... because this is going to blow up SOP for movie making.. and for the better, I would think/hope.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I wouldn't have made that connection. Ever been there, Waterfield?... love the area.... but I wasn't that impressed with Santa Fe itself... but that's my fault, no doubt... I didn't tour it well.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
On, off, on, off, on, off, moved to prime, back to netflix, off, then on again... I'm being played like a fool... and what's worse, I can't stop being a fool.... it will happen again, I'll watch maybe 3, 4 episodes and they'll can it. I really hate Netflix. I mean I really, really, really hate them. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
"WE" don't want reality.... we want 'hyper reality'... and I don't think that equates to a real gun. As I stated above.. you use a 'real' gun noise in a movie and the audience is going to believe you were using a cap pistol... UNLESS... it's heavily edited. Which leads too: Right with you on the 'cost savings'.. I think that's a big factor. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
