that if it ever became possible that would be the area of the world I'd choose to live. I don't mean Santa Fe itself, although maybe... but the 4 Corners area...not right on 4 corners.
Mind if I get a little esoteric? I have traveled a good portion of the world, MOST of the USA.... no where, no where else, did I have the sense that the land, the geography, was more alive than we as humans are. Mystery, yes... but so much more than that. I often read Native American Lore... crazy stories... shape shifters, skin walkers... being a Hillerman fan you know what of I speak.... what's odd, however, is I think I believe there is truth in those stories. - JamesJM
