Yesterday as we began planning our trip to Colorado on March 28th I thought I'd check Gunnison, Colorado's weather. End of March I figured it would still be a bit chilly, at least in the early morning and evenings. So I typed in "Gunnison"...
A little fancy graphic came up saying that currently it's 3° in Gunnison. That's one "3", no other digits. 3. You hear what I'm saying here? 3!
That HAD to be an error... or so I thought.
I checked the extended weather.. on the day we arrive the high is supposed to be 37°. That's the HIGH.... as in NOT the low but rather the HIGH.
End of March.... a high of 37° Had we been on our way to Antarctica I would have expected this... but a locale in the USA, in late March, almost April? Had we been traveling to Nome, Alaska in late March I would have thought, "eh, must be an unseasonable cold spell, we got unlucky".
I have no clothing for the vacuum of space temps. Do vehicles still function at such temperatures? Without a preheating face mask will my lungs freeze solid?
