just not going to do the team up thing to compete with Marvel and rush things along
Yeah I hear you on the SM thing and even follow that logic regarding his brooding and being so dark... but Synder was following an arc in the comics where the characters are dark. The Injustice game for example and there was an Injustice Justice League arc. I don't mind the stories being dark at all I just want them to be good stories and in the comics they were.
I think the biggest issue with SM was/is... they never developed him enough so that the audience loved him. In Man of Steel he was unsure of himself, always second guessing and then he killed Zod which would not be unusual for Wonder Woman but SM? No way. Then in B V S more second guessing himself and his role in the world... and then they let Batman beat him up... and then killed him.
When they bring him back hes evil... and from what I understand in Synder's cut of the film he was even darker.
Anyhow all of that is behind DC.. they are well on their way to getting things turned around.
Oh I didn't have an issue with Afleck as Batman either he was fine. He is officially out now though. They are starting over
