"Pearl Harbor"!!

May 11, 2018 02:57PM
I recall seeing a preview before a movie a good nine months from it's release. OMG! I was sooooooo excited. I never ever thought a movie that I could be so excited for could be so bad. And I am WELL known for giving benefit of doubt. Before it was released, I heard of the budget and thought it HAD to be a good one. HAD TO BE!! It was the biggest pie of S*** movie I have ever seen. A HUUUGE insult to the people of that day and the Doolittle Raid. LOL I'm pissed as I type this. It' why I am reluctant to get excited for the new MIDWAY movie that is in pre production. Directed by Roland Emmerich (Also did Mel Gibson's "The Patriot"winking smiley
Back to Pearl....A lot of guys had issues with the love story stuff. That did not bother me at all. I'm sure a lot of those guys were having fun that weekend in 1941. It was the other HUGE inaccuracies that just killed me! (The video game like dog fights between the battleships??? SIGH) Michael Bay needs to be kicked...HARD!!!! FORTY EIGHT years later "Tora Tora Tora" is RIGHT on the money and THE movie about Pearl!
