There is a lot less coverage this year about the culture of the host country and background stories of the athletes iseem to be lacking. I kind of miss that because I just love human interest stories. I happen to love, love, love figure skating I like the ski jump events but most of the other skiing events put me to sleep. Curling is interesting but not thrilling to me. It's a game, but not a sport in my mind. I really enjoy the snowboarding events. Most of the other winter events I can live without. I watch them though, just because.

The event schedule the Olympics put out is hard to follow, too (they've done better). I've looked at their website and also the Olympics tv app and neither one has the events listed by hour of the day. I'd like to open up Friday, for example and scroll down to 2:00 pm and see what events are happening at that time, in addition to listing by event and country..
