As Gordon Ramsay would say, that sounds "ghastly."
Olive oil and salt? Are we still talking about ice cream or potato chips? I don't know about that "flavor."
And I can definitely see cognac and vanilla ice cream going together. Cognac usually has hints of vanilla in it, so those two together sound delightful. As long as it's the good stuff (cognac).
That said, I'm not sure how agreeable that would be with my stomach!
