First of all, we should consider Ramsey our 1st round pick this year. Impossible as getting such a player might seem with the 20th pick.
Second, Peters would have cost a pretty penny had he remained (for obvious reasons), so that’s pretty much a push.
Third, Ramsey is a clear upgrade over Peters.
Fourth, the Rams had the benefit of Ramsey on the field for half the ‘19 season, no small thing.
So, one could say that the Rams upgraded from Peters to Ramsey for that ‘21 first which will likely be a late, maybe a VERY late 1st.
