I have always liked having 1 extra fast player to stretch the field and create space. Using good route combos allows player separations very fast - nearly immediately....as opposed a FB starting 3yds behind the line or a heavy/slower TE on the line or even kicked out to slot. It's the fast WRs that I loved...Martz used this grouping in spades and his route combos were some of the best I've ever seen.
I LOVE that our WRs can come in and block and out TEs can get out and run...
11 & 12 groupings will be our bread & butter this year. imo
