You however demonstrate a number of notable differences. You note that
1. The rams were successful this year in part BECAUSE of Goff and not inspite of him.
2. Goff has performed better than average overall
3. Goff has a high ceiling and
4. Becoming a successful NFL QB is a typically a process.

I’m a big fan of Goff and think he has a very high ceiling but at this stage of his development I would say that he needs a lot of protection (maybe not max), he’s not at a place where he can really put the team on his shoulders and win games on his own, he does get flustered under heavy pressure, and then he starts hurrying throws and sometimes fumbles in those situations.
None of that means he needs to be replaced IMO. It means he needs to continue to get more experience and grow.
