He did "precisely" what he was asked to do... the reason he caught the ball was "BECAUSE" he got open... he caught it because he can catch. Not a single route he ran in which the ball was thrown to him was meant for YAC. (well, second half, I didn't see the first half, or even the start of the 3rd).
I would agree that there wasn't enough there to make a call on keeping him but no chance I'm criticizing the kid for doing exactly what he was asked to do. Refreshing change, IMHO... ain't seen a whole lot of that happen the last umpteen years. - JamesJM
