Two weeks after Goff starts nobody will give a rats azz about it and the over the top sports media (which is generally awful) will be on to stir some other "stuff" to generate clicks.
Once this isn't a clickbait story not one single person in the media will be able to muster up one feck.
You have no idea what anybody will be saying two weeks after Goff starts. He may make everybody forget about his inability to beat out a couple fringe type QB's or he may make us long for having those fringe types back in the starting lineup. So, people very well may still give a rats azz about it.
The argument that we need to wait and see is exceptionally problematic because it completely discounts the fact that we already are seeing. And what we've seen is that Wentz is light years ahead of Goff at this point. It doesn't mean we've seen everything yet and it doesn't mean that your completely abstract vision of the future might not come true. But critical thinking demands the acknowledgement of the current objective reality, not a reflexive dismissal of it because it's not what we would have chosen.
