I am not trying to take anything away from Wentz. I wanted him prior to seyeing Goffs red zone and winning numbers. With that said, in game one the Browns starting QB gets injured and game plan went out of the window. In game two the Bears starting QB gets injured and the game plan went out of the window.
It's easier to look good when your opponent has to go to the well. All you have to do is protect the ball. Wentz looked like a vet doing so.no matter what, he is impressive.

Keep in mind that the decision to start Wentz looks and sounds a lot easier when Philly starts his career against the Browns and Bears. They are amongst the worst defenses in football.
The Rams started the new LA move hoopla on Monday against the sf defense and heated rivalry. They then went and played against the heated Seattle rivalry and defense.
I believe in putting people in position to succeed. As much as I dislike Fish, I'm on board.

Then again, Wentz isn't just squeaking by those two teams. He's beaten them by a collective 34 points in the two games and looked damned impressive while doing so.
So there is that.
Geez. What will he look like by mid season? Lol.
