Wentz learned a lot of what he will have to know in the NFL while he was in college. He played under center. He called line protections and audibled at the line of scrimmage. I just don't think you can ever underestimate the value of that. The QB position in the college game has never been more removed from the pro game than it is right now. Goff will probably catch up, but it's going to take some time. There are only a handful of college programs that school a quarterback in the pro mold, and these are schools that quarterbacks with pro aspirations are going to have to give serious consideration to coming out of high school. They leave college light years ahead.
