The TD bomb to Swann was in high traffic. I thought Cromwell had a shot to block that.........Perry was SOOOOO close to deflected the Stallworth TD (That was a 3rd and long play)......Cromwell's dropped INT. Lesser know was the Rams ALMOST hit a TD pass early but settled for a FG.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I remember they showed a clip of the Rams walking onto the field, during walk throughs and RFKs field was nothing but green painted dirt. I THOUGHT it might help US by hindering their passing game. WRONG! They killed us in every phase. Heck...The Skins beat us pretty good at Anaheim, earlier that season.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
And missed Leroy Irvin's 97 yard INT by a minute! But remember being SOOOO happy we were about to put it away.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
The mili second Rod Perry's finger nail missed the pass to Stallworth!! MAN O MAN!! I cannot watch that....and even 44 years later.....NOT feel a slight ache in my ribs when I see it. I can easily still feel that sick feeling of watching it live. It STILL hurts.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Have you guys ever experienced an tremors from the New Madrid Fault?? I was stationed in Blytheville, Arkansas from 1986-90. That's juuuuust South of the Missouri Boot Heel and fairly close to the New Madrid Fault. I think it was around 1988 when I was in the Fire Station TV / Game Room, sitting on the pool table when I heard a distant rumble getting closer. This will be the 3rd...maybe 4th eclipse I have lived through. Have seen a few Lunar ones too. With glasses...without glasses, I simply do not get the thrill of making my eyes burn like hell. People say...It's gonna be dark in the middle of the day!!!! Well...Does that all the time when those Summertime T Storms pop up. Yes, I get that it's interesting. I just don't get the 2-3 weeks worth ofby Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
Wistrom alone was awesome at causing trouble. Rams were not breaking Sack records but sure as hell had a TON of turn overs by our D. That was an ELEVEN men to the ball D that tackled at least half way decent. That's all we need. That crap in recent years where we sit back and wait for a mistake with LAME LAME LAME tackling was absolute BS!by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Down the side of my car as I applied or removed wax. Now??? I sit on my butt and slide over a little at a time.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
I THOUGHT detailing was just waxing and some extra TLC. But like you said.......This guy, even 20 years ago, charged $300-$500. I tell ya....Cars rolling out of the factory were not as clean as when he finished. He did my Buds rather large pick up truck and spent a solid 5-6 hours on it. Even the ENGINE was spotless!by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
I wonder if my Brother would have? I always said that he had all the cool toys and interesting stuff.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
Very interesting movie. I always liked Spencer Tracy. Especially in "Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo" and "Northwest Passage". In "Bad Day At Black Rock", there are some really good heavies played by Robert Ryan, Ernest Borgnine and Lee Marvin. They are trying to cover up a crime from four years prior.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
I have always said...And this goes for any passionate fan of ANY team.......If you have to explain it to someone, just move along. They will not get it. I have always laughed (Because I am GUILTY) of the range of emotions that you can see even in TYPE on the Game Day Forum, is very telling. I made a funny post about it a couple of years ago, how in just one game on GTF, you can see......."Hby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Of how he and I believe his Dad and Brother watched that game. He described how his last memory of that day was the three of them jumping, higging and falling on the floor in unison and laying on the floor and seeing the utter joy in their faces. Or something very similar. I wish I could recall that Rams site. Had many such stories an input from fans. Such stories is why certain games mean so mucby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I know we all have dozens if not hundreds of moments but if you had to pick ONE moment that comes to your head when you think of your Rams fandom....Which is it ? It doesn't necessarily have to be obvious huge Rams moments but just ONE that means the very most to you. Mine will ALWAYS be beating Dallas in the 79 Playoffs and particularly, the Waddy catch. That game meant so much to me on a fewby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I detail it twice a year....April and October. I usually do it mid / late Oct but the weather was just tooooo beautiful to not do it today. Always nice when I'm not dripping sweat on it and dehydrated when I'm done. LOL To think that when I was 19- 23 years old, I used to wax my Camaro every month??? I dread twice a year now!by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub

The one that I grew up in. It was nothing but Old School people who gave a damn. When they started passing away, many of their homes became Rentals = Game Over! It has sorta made a rebound but it's still far from what it was. Our street...Saaaaame thing. The old school folks are fading and the Younger generations moving in simply do not care. I honestly do not see it getting better. The only queby Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
Probably EVERY team has a pick they wish they had gone after. It's such a Crap Shoot with so many surprises.. For every big surprise you can find disappointment.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
That Repairman told us that even Speed Queen is nothing like it used to be.Back in the day...Even my Dad who was Gung Ho SEARS and Kenmore, always said Speed Queen was the way to go but they were too expensive. They are heavily used in Laundromats.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
I know there are many out there that are run by power hungry egos. I also know that many people move into HOA areas knowing damn well what the rules are but then either push the envelope or run to a TV News station to whine. The very common one down here is .....Flags. MANY HOAs say in clear print...."NO flags of ANY sort". I like seeing American flags flying proudly as much as anyone.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
