Not kicking the field goal to end the 49 game was worse call by McVay. The Rams would be in first place in the division. With only 17 games in the regular season ties are worth a lot. And if McVay once again ran Williams right tackle which hasn't been very successful.by sfbayram - RamsFootballFans.com

I think he is doing good, but also feel he is not doing as good as he could based on some of his decisions. I think the Rams get a tie last week and would be at the top of the division a half game ahead of SF and Seattle.by sfbayram - RamsFootballFans.com

I stayed with Karty too long on my fantasy league and paid the price. I wanted to pick him up when Shrader went down. All week I was flip flopping between Karty and Piniero. Last year and this Year I figured McVay's poor red zone offense meant a lot of field goal opportunities but McVay's decisions to go for it on fourth down instead of kicking the field goal and take what you can. With better choices he would be be at or in the top 50. Wasting timeouts. Not playing certain players whether he doesn't know how or just not want to. Wasting challenges or not calling challenges. Winning a challenge or even losing a challenge can motivate players. Not challenging can be deflating to players. Poor red zone offense. Using the challenges better.
