The players needs to play great. And McVay can't make bad decisions. He needs to use the entire team to keep SF guessing and in their heels. Defense needs to play focused and not overrun ball carriers and take themselves out of the play. It leads to big plays for SF too often.by sfbayram - RamsFootballFans.com

I don't completely blame Williams for the SF fumble since it should have been a personal foul first down for Rams. Williams get hit with a full round house blind side punch from a 6'5" 330 lb defensive lineman and ends up face planting on the ground I would bet the punch caused the fumble. I saw the replay again when Williams got punched in the side of his head and it caused his head to spin to the left and he went limp and his face planted in the ground. I do t see him face planting if he doesn't get punched. Blocking is a factor, but Karty has to kick the ball as if there is no pressure. If it gets blocked when the rush breaks through the line he shouldn't be blamed. He shoots himself in the foot when he tries to avoid having the kick blocked. Just kick it like nobody is there. Blackburn has to have the line in the right position and know who to block.
