is simply coaches being unwilling to play rook's much. PRobably for good reason... I'm not questioning that... but my guess is a big reason you don't see the contributing much is simply because they aren't on the field much... rightly OR wrongly. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
or maybe drugs... heavy alcohol intake perhaps... SOMETHING that will snap you back to your sense. Nah, not really... you're chasing your passion... you go for it. I'll be on the shore sipping one of those umbrella drinks. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

and I would LOVE to.... like you, however, don't touch my feet. I almost got one a few years ago when I had a neck problem they couldn't diagnose... I'm sure it was a 'pinched nerve' but that's not official. About once every 2 or 3 minutes it was like I was getting 'shock' treatment in a circular area around the center point in my neck. At first quite painful... but as the weeks wore on thby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I have baby feet. Nary a callous or even a tiny rough patch. I can't even walk on carpet barefoot.. kills me. Outside? I'd sooner be waterboarded. Actually after posting that, and browsing some 'drummer shoes', I remember I just bought a pair of shoes that might work. They're 'joke' shoes... lemme' explain. My 2nd oldest grandson is into shoes... obsessive about them actually. He'sby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I love bucket hats. BUT... I hate that strap hanging from the brim to adjust how snuggly your hat stays on. I usually cut those off, they annoy me. I'm glad I didn't with the bucket hat in that photo, (a new cheapo Walmart one), because it was windy in Iowa, and South Dakota, and Nebraska, and Minnesota - where the selfie was taken. Without that strap my bucket hat today would probably beby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I mean, it's possible, I suppose... QB's probably throw harder, for one thing. Still... I tend to think 'catching' is a talent you don't lose UNLESS you are of the type to sign a contract - consider the whole football adventure over, and proceed to go through your first million as fast as humanly possible. The struggles, I think, are "almost" entirely system related. New demands toby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

That's right... we'd all be vagrants and misfits if it wasn't for Scott.... who long ago had a vision and broke the tape on this forum. Not sure he'll see this, he's probably out bass fishing in his backyard... but just in case - lets all send him our best wishes today and thanks for over 20 years of uniting Ram fans. Have a good one, Scott... thanks. - Jimmyby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
At this time I'm definitely thinking that's his best move. I'm thinking specifically of Reedley J.C. (near Fresno), who have put many players into Div II, NAIA, even Div 1 the last few years. PLUS.. and this is huge... his high school coach, (the only one to really help him get noticed), has moved on to Reedley.. so that relationship would continue. - JameJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
He has some good offers... Lawrence, Michigan... 3 Ottawa Campses... Dordt... Humboldt... Azusa Pacific....BUT... And very unfortunately... two of them offer no engineering classes and the others offered a spread from $11,000 to $19,000, (Education and Athletics), but that still left a huge sum he'd have to pay. I'm hoping he chooses a local JuCo... no money, get his sea legs... general Eby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
100 degree days in April are not rare. Nor are 100 degree days in October. It is 'somewhat' rare, however, to go from the 70's to the 100's in a day or two.. which is what just happened. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Watkins is the better receiver... in almost every way. That I don't argue. Fighting for the ball.. Watkins is very good, Kupp has indications he could be one of the best I've ever seen.. IMHO. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
How I followed him PRE-Pro's. BUT... I will NEVER understand how this guy was overlooked by the NFL. There was never a time, not even a moment, when Warner showed any less that 'great'. Since Warner I think... Hell.. I KNOW... great athletes get lost in the incompetence, the myopic insistence of considering only binary numbers on a readout, and any number of other reasons... by the hundby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
That's where I was yesterday. Sitting in the bleachers was hell. We went from upper 70's, lower 80's, to 100 almost overnight. I watched those kids out on that track and my heart bled for them. ON the track the temperature had to be well over 100. My grandson was entered in the 200, 400, High Jump and 4X400 relay. First up... the 400... which, as you know, is a killer. The window for receiver's receptions these days is narrow... DB's get better every year, and the rules never favor them. With very few exceptions, (getting wide open), the ball is going to come down in traffic.... failure to get separation, inaccuracy from the QB's. I would give you that Watkins and Blackman are far more likely to get that rare 'wide open' separation and that we currently hby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Pretty sure I mentioned this as well.... that article talked about dumping an old car into a break to block it. We bought that land in 1952. Sold it about 12 years ago. During the time we owned it a winter did not go by that we didn't work to strengthen the levee. Any time an old business was torn down in this area we took the concrete and put it on the levee back. Lined it with tin. Anby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Engineer's from the county visited me in my home, also our local newspaper, and they told me, back in March, that to handle the snowmelt Pine Flat Reservoir would have to be filled, and emptied, 4 times. Since then they added a fifth time. When the levee was repaired of the initial threat we were quite aware that the worst was yet to come... and now we enter that stage. I certainly hope so, not sure yet. The dogs left our home not long after I posted this.... I was surprised... but they returned last night. Phone typing, bear with me. Found two coyotes once. Mom had died. Caught them, still have the scars. Raised them. one died about two weeks later. Don't know why. Arnold was a couple years ahead of me in high school. Band, in our high school, was very popular. We had a full orchestra with nearly every musical instrument represented. Oddly... Guitars were not in our 'band'... but many chose to learn guitar and never joined the band. I've told you guys this before. Every year, with no exception, people drive out into the country near my home and drop dogs off. I'd say we average two per year.... some years probably as many as 10. There are a few other homes near me but for some reason they usually set up residence in my yard. Yeah.... I know, feeding them is probably why they do that but I can't let a dog starve.
