If the other men on this board 'man up' I think they'll admit this as well. Sometimes it's HARD to tell. Often I look for 'clothing color' in hopes of getting it right but these days that's not a good indicator. Now in Everett's case... I see 'boy'. As for the shirt, love it. I don't think he needs it... but it's still clever... I'm sure they have one for girls? - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I don't know. I know very little about Spruce... one game. Darn good one but it was one game. Even so... loved the kid. That chant that went up in the Coliseum as he and Mannion 'lit it up' warmed the cockles of my heart. I think, I don't know what 'cockles' means. The whole time I was thinking, "these kids, (Mannion and Spruce), are having their greatest moment in the football careeby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
He's done pretty well in Denver. There's that. We haven't seen as much success. BUT DO NOT take that as me saying our FO is not good and Elway is the answer. Just saying he does have a pretty good track record. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
it's different this year. Last year the "Fisher Thing" was hanging over our heads... negativity was rampant. (include me :) ). That ALONE makes this year different... some "well we don't know about McVay yet".... but very little "McVay is a bust and we are doomed for the next 45 years because Kroenke will never fire himr", (ala Fisher last year). Back in....hell, I can't remember... I went to Japan. We hosted a foreign exchange student in the late 90's... she was from Japan. My son moved to Japan some years ago so we went to visit - and while there we visited with Kaai, our foreign exchange student. Kaai and her husband took us to Kabuki-za, a theater in Japan... long tradition, must see for tourists. couldn't understand aby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

the 'positive vibes' this year are higher than the recent past. I'm not saying 'warranted'... nor am I saying previous seasons were without positive vibes.... but this year is different. And it's not just coming from us.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
For what it's worth.. my opinion on those you listed: "Goff's picking up the offense quickly.." - - I can't imagine he's NOT getting better if for no other reason than it's his second year... and I think there's a lot more than that. "Gurley ready to be the horse again.." This one I don't know. I'm worried about Gurley. "Kupp is smarter than Al Einstein (j/k) aby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
for the next week anyway. Family is down in LA for my granddaughter's dance competition... I usually go but I have a band gig coming up I can't miss. So I'm taking advantage of my bachelorhood to crank my stereo up for music AND movies... problem is, as you and I are noting... ain't @#$# on to watch! and I never made it out of the store before checking to make sure the Ram's were predicted to win their division. I can only remember once.. there may have been more, seeing the Ram's predicted to win the SB. As the consensus, that is. 5 or more 'experts' would usually pick. Often, in the 70's, one or more would choose the Rams... but I only remember the one time they were the consensus picby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

Rams, NFL Champs, 1951. It's legit, it's BIG, it counts. Waterfield is about the only one that makes note of it... and it's a damn shame. Now correct me if I'm wrong.. but I don't think it was the "Superbowl" until the third year it was played? When they merged it was NOT called the SB.. I'm sure of that. but I'm from Tranquillity... maybe 800 people... and I do not, never did, relate to LA in a 'community' sense.. name-wise YES, I did. When I started rooting for the Rams LA, to me, was as distant as Paris... I had no connection whatsoever. I was 10, cut me some slack. :laughing Rams won in 2000... and as Waterfield likes to point out we won the NFL Championship in 51'... I don't remember it,by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Have friends in social media who take 'pride' in taking part in those advertisement manipulations that get you to take and IQ test, or a HISTORY test, or any other that says "Only 4 out of 10 will successfully pass this test" tests? I do tend to agree with you however.. but my reasoning is more 'biased', if you will. :laughing This talk about TE's'... I am skeptical. That is.. making them a major part of the offensive strategy. IF SO... I think that would bring Gurley much more into play. I'm not sure McVay is literally trying to emulate Washington. and could be wrong here, was ever a factor. I know lots of you speculated about that. NetFlix is horrible. Now as an 'add-on' that you seldom use it's fine. BUT, and as you know, still under flood alert here, and having a tree take out my DirecTV dish, I've been without since.. what? You brought it to mind by saying, "and he was of MY time"... I see that a lot. I also see others 'accused' of that a lot... as if you cannot judge fairly anything based in your generation... I don't know how he compares to Gary but my guess is that he was in the running. And with Tyler it seemed ALWAYS at the most inopportune time, not that there's a good time. And yet...
