Much ado about nothing, I think

So, yes, he was involved in an awkward tackle early in the first quarter.

I re-watched the first quarter and he played the rest of that drive and most of the next drive, too. He took a hand-off right after that awkward tackle and ran hard through traffic. Also, in several plays after that awkward tackle they had him split out wide as a receiver. In one of those you can see him clearly give a gruff block to the guy covering him (not easy to do if you're gimpy in your leg).

What's more, in the middle of the second half he had a rip-roaring 24 yard run.

After the game he was asked in a locker-room interview (see the video version) about being out for most of one drive and he just said it was a rotation thing between him and Malcolm, nothing more.

I think people expected TGII to step up big in this game and the fact is that the Chiefs played to take Gurley out of the game all day. The Rams recognized early that the Chiefs' weakness was going to be their secondary and they rode that pony all the way home.

Maybe I'm wrong and he'll show up on the injury list, but I doubt it. He was running around just fine after that awkward tackle.
