confusion and unpreparedness that you'd expect from a Fisher QB. just more of the same display of confusion and unpreparedness that you'd expect from a Fisher QB. This is the a staple of 15 years of Fisher coaching. I have never seen a coach so good in so many areas with one gaping hole. Offense and I wouldn't limit it to passing offense, the running offense is way too limited as well.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
behind Gurley. Simply put, the Rams need to add players that can make a play, not subtract. It is magnified by the fact that the actual offense is so bad and creates no competitive opportunities for players. It is all on the players to make something out of nothing and Austin has the physical talent to make plays out of nothing. 1) Offense needs somebody to generate offense out of nothing because there the actual offense is so bad and predictable. 2) There is nobody else that has been developed and Gurley needs at least somebody else that the defense has to account for that is a threat. Guarantee significant improvement if that would happen with the offense. The question would be would other parts of team maintain. Fisher is pretty good everywhere but offense where he has been bad for decades. We could get better on offense really quick but regress elsewhere.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
As disinterested he is in offense: look at this tidbid All American WR and strangely that is the biggest underachieving group of players on the team. Now, 3 or 4 years back, they were simply lacking of any physical talent, but this group has physical talent but cannot deliver results. The fundamentals of route running are bad and The Rams only run the go out and turn around pattern with Britt and the Tight end delay across the middle and the Austin screen pass. Nothing else needs to be considered by the defense.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
He resurrected Palmer's career, well him and Fitzgerald. 84-79 career win-loss record if you look at about link. You need somebody who can make something out of nothing. Austin made more big plays than the entire WR and TE crew combined these past few years. He isn't an elite WR, but he made some plays and scored some touchdowns and is at least somebody that the defense has to account for in this predictable mess of an offense.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Remember the one poster last year that after Gurley's quick start he would post photos of the 8 and crazy 9 guys in the box formations of the other team because of the predictability of the offense? Nobody, not even Gurley can run through 9 great NFL athletes. They get paid too. Give him some offensive coaching and I agree. 2000 yard runner and 6.0 yards per carry runner. This is the Problem with drafting Robinson and Quick. You draft these projects that take forever to come around and by the time they do come around, other parts of the team are weaker through age, injury, or players moved on for better salaries. and much of it coaching problems. I question coaching no how to do much other than the 6 plays they run. fundamentals are lacking (Bad Route running, how they catch it), bad space management, bad preparation, bad design, it goes on and on. Having a game changer that can create offense on his own without help of coaching would mask the problems somewhat and may provide enough pop to get ovby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com

he looks better again this year and may prove me wrong yet. He sure is moving good right now, better than I have seen him. but everytime I think I could be wrong about something, I end up being wrong. He is becoming less overrated. I will give him that now. if the 6 play invincible in the rain offense wasn't so predictable, this is what it could be. Preseason equals no preparation and the opposing defense is playing it more straight up, although one could argue that preparing for the Rams offense only takes an hour to get through the 6 plays that we run. Give these Rams Gurley a chance with a young offensive line and he will be legendary. Takby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
You can see the talent with Gurley. Cunningham is far exceeding expectations in preseason. Like the change in number, #39 makes him look slower. #3 guy doing well but the big but once the teams start game planning and this predictable offense allows the 8 and 9 in the box with everybody running at the runningback, not only at the player, but know the direction he is going, things geby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
at least at the time I would have kept Bradford if anybody thinks he could be healthy, but that was a big question mark. I was ok with the Foles, but it didn't work out as his play went south fast. has held back the Rams QBs these past years. Now, do I think any of them would have played well in different circumstances. Maybe, Bradford, but probably not the rest. BUT I DO KNOW, THEY WOULD HAVE PLAYED BETTER THAN WHAT THEY DID WITH THIS OFFENSIVE COACHING AND WRs.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
What is puzzling to me is there are guys that believe Robinson is the second coming and he has shown nothing comparable to RGIII rookie of the year caliber play relative to the position. Yet, RGIII is a right off because he lost his way after the injury. But other QBs have gotten injured and returned back to play better in later years after getting healthy. I have never seen a player get so much love for so little production. He basically is an Alex Barron with a good attitude so far (Barron was a slacker and Robinson is not, so I give him that but). that I will buy. I have never seen a limited selection of plays. I don't know if Robinson can't process or the reason, but it is easy to defend and read. That much is sure. The problem isn't the run/pass ratio. It is that the defense has so little to be concerned about as we don't see 75% of the plays that other NFL teams run. I am no fan on him, but I think he is at least as good as Jamie Martin. I would think he is better. He is a guy right now that I don't get excited about or negative about. but I still think he is middle of pack 2nd stringer. This is a pretty good team overall and QB has been the weakness, as well as receivers, and offensive coaches.
