QuoteDeadpool I like Edmunds inside as well, a 6'-5" ILB also gives the QB another tall hat to have to throw around. I also have a tendency to forget to look up a prospects age. Which is the case with Settle. He lost some weight this last offseason, so there is no reason to think he won't lose some more as he sheds the baby fat. Good point. Edmunds also has vines for armsby Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadpool I think after some more study he will move up but I have some concerns. First, he is more athletic then you would think by looking at him. 2nd he stays low out of his stance and uses that leverage to push OL into the backfield. He has a nice swim move and does have a decent motor. When he uses a punch, OGs and OCs are in serious trouble. That brings me to an issue I have withby Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadpool I have been saying all along that if 1 of the 2 NTs fall, they may be too tempting to pass on. If you have been reading me. :thumbsup Da'Ron Payne and Vita Vea are both NTs that would fit exactly what the Rams are missing. A NT that not only can take up spacem but has the ablity to push the pocket. I will stand by my comment 3 months ago that Payne may be one of the strongestby Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 The Rams need to find a good press/man CB for this defense in April. Trumaine Johnson has always been more of an off the ball, zone-type CB. That's partly why I doubt they keep him. Better to pay far less to keep Robey-Coleman in the slot while drafting an outside CB that truly fits Phillips' mold. Speed all day, explosive in his turns and out of his breaks. ++ ball skills. QuoteDeadpool its a deep class again this year. I really liked Myles Gaskin, but since he is going back, he would be a nice consolation prize. He has several things going against him. He is undersized at what? 5'-9" 195 lbs? He also doesn't have that topend speed a guy his size usually has and lastly he played at Fordham in a weak FCS conference. Quotemerlin Have to think that changes after the league got a load of Kamara in the regular season & playoffs, not to mention the way the Rams used Gurley all season. I think this year is a big RB boost in perceived value, with a lot of teams wanting them.by Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteLMU93 I would estimate that 80% of his career rush attempts are QB sneaks. He's the best ever at that, hands down... 2.2 with a 3.4 average as a rookie. Want historical? Montana 2.4 and a few seasons over 3 Warren Moon 2.6 and a 4.4 season. Wentz is very average in his rush attemptsby Flipper336 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRockRam Since the issue is running versus throwing from the pocket, I must admit "drop back" to me is close to synonymous with "pocket passer". But, technically you are correct sir. Wentz averaged 2.9 per game. Tom Brady's career average is 2.2 and has many seasons 2.6+ and as high as 3.1 Aaron Rodgers career average is 3.5 with seasons over 4. QuoteRockRam I think right now a majority of fans would think that the Rams should have taken Wentz over Goff due to Wentz's early successes. However history says the odds are that the true drop back passer has the far better chance of winning the Superbowl than the QB/Athlete. Quotemax I didn't think Reed was that much bigger and faster than Everett. I heard it the entire draft process and never understood it. "The next Reed" and then some freakish athlete used as a comparison. Reed isn't freakish athletically so saying Everett moves better isn't a surprise. Is he as tough over the middle? I do know his grade didn't really change for me. He wasn't on my personal draft board because it was obvious he would go well before I would take him.
