I really liked Myles Gaskin, but since he is going back, he would be a nice consolation prize.
He has several things going against him. He is undersized at what? 5'-9" 195 lbs? He also doesn't have that topend speed a guy his size usually has and lastly he played at Fordham in a weak FCS conference.
Now that being said, he locates the ball as well as a WR, and his balance and patience is plus plus. He also has a jump cut that most RBs dream about.
He will also play in this weeks east -west and i think got a combine invite. The secret will be out on this guy my March if not by this weekend.
I think he deserves talk with the upper level even in a deep class. He’s probably 5’8 - 5’9 which is no negative for me and unless he severely cuts weight to improve track times I think 205-210 is where he settles in at. He’s a stop/start runner with patience and vision, not a speed guy.
I think he gets some mentions after his offseason game but he will stay under the radar because of his school kinda like David Johnson did.
