Sweet! I was wondering who that was!by XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
That 3rd down call was the only call I disliked. Get a first down and the game is over. Did not go for the jugular and instead elected to see if the D could hold Dak from scoring a TD with almost 2 full minutes on the clock. Quite honestly I felt that McVay doesn't yet trust Goff in that situation... didn't want to set him up for a potential game- losing blunder. I'm glad it worked oby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Only 35 points today. 142 points after four games for an average of 35.5 points per game. C'mon fellas, step it up (Smiley face emojis unnecessary) I vote McVay for emperor of the universeby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com

Ok... not "yay"... but... ahem... I hope Lee heals up first thing on Monday.by XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Martz's offense was new, revolutionary, forever changed the game. McVay's offense seems cutting edge and employs all the best of the newest concepts. (Liked a recent article that said McVay's O uses the best ideas from the O's of NE, ATL, and NO-- in terms of stacked WR sets to create separation at the line, route tree combos downfield, and play-calling strategies). Bottom line, IMHO: Martby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree with others who say nothing could ever "feel like'99." I've heard that heroin addiction is a never-ending pursuit of the feeling you got on your very first high--a perfect, incomparable rush. Well, I think the high of '99 was kinda like that. Sorry to use a drugs analogy, but... well... that '99 season was really something...by XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com

Agreed, Old Goat...my enthusiasm has been tempered for the last 14 years, and I can't wait anymore! A win over the Boys and I'll be chugging the Kool aid again, regardless of the Dby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
As per McVay audio from his show: He's "hopeful" that both Watkins and Tavon will be cleared to practice on Wed. Webster looking promising to practice tomorrow. Cryptic on Joyner, just said "day-to-day." On Sullivan, said " injury not as bad as originally feared" but also implied Sullivan might not be available until "later in the week", but sinby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
A crappy explanation IMHO. The whole debate really is, did the knee touch the ground? And the explanation is, simply, "yeah, it touched. " Wish he had taken the time to really show the exact point the knee supposedly touched the ground, since to me it's much more clear that the calf touched the ground, but the knee perhaps did not.by XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Casserly thinks we have the best overall offense in the division, with an up-and-coming QB and the best OL and the best RB and the best WRs. But he thinks our LBs are so bad that he sees us maxing out at 8 wins, tops. Ogletree and Barron and Quinn and Barwin have talent (and hefty paychecks)... will be interesting to see how Philipps tries to stop the bleedingby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com

Anyone know-- road blues at DAL this week? If so, will we survive the white horns and yellow numbers combo? They can't possibly look as bad as this early Barwin pic- with red white and blue of the flag clashing with the white yellow and mismatched blues of the jersey clashing with the hideous green of the background.... what an awful photo!by XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Maybe his knee did not touch. But what about his lower leg? If the side of his calf touched the ground, he's down. Really really close but if I had to choose, I'd say they got the call right.by XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Just went on a Detroit lions website to check out reactions. Only definitive camera angle is obscured by a falcon helmet... kinda surprised they overturned the call without "indisputable" evidence. Truly a question of millimeters... so so so close.by XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
I've seen the highlight of the last play and I have not yet seen "definitive" proof that the knee was down... maybe I need to see another angle. Really really really close... runner never put any weight on the knee, but maybe the shin or the knee pad grazed the turf ... As for the 10 second runoff-- could the lions have lined up and run another play in only 8 seconds?? Again, reallby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Out of 28 passes, I only saw 3 poor throws. Two were throwaways. And the pass Higbee dropped was a STRIKE. It amazes me how so many ppl voted "about what I expected" when last year and this year are like night and day.by XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Well, for Rams fans, this is the million dollar question. For right now anyway. Wade has said many times that it is the D coordinator's job to tailor his scheme to fit the strengths of his players, not the other way around. .. Regardless-- would be interesting to hear your take ( as well as others) as to what the specific personnel problems are. I know that ILBs should be more the thumper tby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Excellent point. Not "concerned" about the ST's because they usually play well. But you are right, ST's had a long list of horrible plays Thursday niteby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
Old goat, I worded it poorly. My intent was simply to complain (LOUDLY IN ALL CAPS) my frustration that the Rams have taken 14 years without even sniffing a suppposedly "not that hard" trip to playoffs. "Nothing to see here" was just a self deprecating comment about my own complaining. As for the team? Yes, of course, there's plenty to see here...I'm pumped just like allby XXXIVwin - RamsFootballFans.com
