QuoteRam_Ruler Remember when Greg Williams was the saints coordinator when they won the Superbowl and some Rams fans were mad when Fisher hired him? And saints fans basically said their defense was average but their talent was far below that. Said Greg was making chick salad out of....you know. I was 15 at the time, living in the Ozarks, after growing up in Long Beach until 74. The Rams had precious few televised games each year so they were my big deal. It really looked like we were going to win that one and the gloom that followed lasted until the GSOT. And yes, that kind of football seemed more personal and captivating back then when MOST of your heroes stayed with the team for severby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com

If you can't block, you can't win. Ram fans suffered many year's starting with the end of the GSOT of perennially injured OLs. The good years recently corresponded with far better than average OL continuity. There isn't a coach or player on that team that doesn't know that with a street FA caliber line...wins will be nearly impossible. QuoteRamgator Not wasted but BIG TIME short changed. BIG TIME!! Steven Jackson?? Yeah. It's criminal what he dealt with. The crime is that the team was so bad that he won't get a HOF call, but I believe he deserves oneby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
Robert Quinn was traded for a 4th round pick to the Eagles. If the Rams seriously wanted to upgrade the pass rush, wouldn't their third be worth it?by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
So, the team is fighting through numerous injuries, they try but can't acquire mid season help, and his grandfather dies and this cretin decides to add retirement questions to his docket?!? I'm pissed!!! And anyone who breathes life into this can kiss my lilly Filipino ass. He deserves sooooo much better.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
I disagree entirely. If Ramsey catches either pick or the fumble he caused didn't bounce right to the prone McLeod, that game goes a different way with a two score lead. Things happen, and the short game was all McVay could do when linemen are getting regularly beaten. They lost, but this team improved their performance over the last few weeks...it doesn't always result in wins. I will sayby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
Through the third quarter, the Rams executed better than the 9'ers. If Ramsey either catches the pick or his forced fumble doesn't drop fight into McLeod's arms, that game goes the other way. This team is improving and will make the playoffs. With that said, McCaffrey was the difference today. He certainly gives them an advantage, but I wouldn't give away next year's draft for a back who iby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
Shanny saves all his new wrinkles for McVay. He has since they both became HC's. He targets us like Fisher would the 9'ers when the Rams couldn't beat anyone else (well, maybe six others a season).by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
Quote3030 How about this: Broncos pay big to bring McCaffery home, we deal for Melvin Gordon. Trade one fumbling issue for an older one ? McCaffrey is even more fragile than what we currently have. But if he's on.... It may not be as sexy, but we need linemen because NOBODY is running wild without blocking.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
Roughing the passer calls can be cleaned up with one move, make them reviewable. Since QB's need to be protected so a ref needs to throw questionable flags that are upheld by review automatically. Problem solvedby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDavid Deacon The offensive line is the big problem. Too many changes: Replacing Whit, Allen, Edwards, Sheldon, & Anchrum has devastated the offensive line. They can't protect or run block worth a darn right now. You know you are in trouble when you see Bobby Evans lining up. McVay/Coen are going to need to cook something up and fast to offset this deficiency which will be quite diby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
I was watching the Manning version and Peyton broke down the creativity of Shanny's run design. It did as intended by creating a look that is normally a toss pitch to the left but designed for the cut back in a way Manning hadn't seen before. Kyle had an entire team that had their season ended by the Rams. This was a Rams survival game with a patchwork offensive line and receivers not named Kby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com

Watching him against the Bucs, he is a friggin wall in the middle. PFF has him rated #1 center in NFL and I agree. He's better than prime time Rodney Hudson. Seriously, watch him! The new Little Caesar's commercial has a guy get tongue tied by "Pizza Pizza" and calls him Patt Pafford, a subtle (and I believe intentional) Pad Stafford like alliteration. I've had that feeling before. The last time I felt it was the first half of the Rams' last regular season game of the season. Then the Ram "self destruct" button was pressed. It happened again two games later against the Bucs in the playoffs. While other games have ebbs and flows, that "self destruct" mode has already been pressed twice this year as the Rams tried their best tby Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com

I've always said his special teams play was exceptional. It takes genuine courage to play FB with his build, but Benny loves contact! He's a kamikaze. And my favorite part is, he's smart. There are guys like Tutu and Gerald Everett who can't seem to grasp the offense well enough to really be trusted. Benny is where he's supposed to be most of the time even if his technique still needs refinement.by Leoram - RamsFootballFans.com
It really doesn't matter much. We've had depleted Niners teams before that thoroughly outplayed the Rams. Heck, two years ago they lost to the winless Jets late in the season. The Rams have operated at about 75% of their potential in my mind. If that number significantly increases, I don't care who they play.
