Okay-was going to add to the D-Line group, but he plays.I was wondering about #0. I was not a Fan of him The First Day.Noteboom handle him well. I have to say up close I had doubts. He looks the part.He was getting encouragement. -What I liked about him is he works day in & Day out.Just crushes .He is smooth & finding what works. During scrimmage he was lining up at different angles.I kepby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Haven’t looked at any reports so just going off what I saw.Tried to get a feel for the defense. Probably the most impressive player yesterday from the defense was Larrell Murchison. First time I’ve seen him live really at least in The Bull Ring & 1 on 1’s. The Rams inside pass rush is going to be good.No AD99 sight from me. Bobby Brown has power, but Zach Thomas showed he can hang aby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Pass rush ? Byron Young was unimpressive. My GF loved his white pants & said she had a picture of him.He helped me out in that way. Hoecht is basically taking over for Floyd at OLB LDE. Copland is on the inside as DE. That’s about it from day 1.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Pleasant was excited for this tackling drill. He lives the PP thrust when thrust. He had this thing he built to keep your body low which forces you to keep your head down. Each player did it once with at least 3 groups of DB’s. -Fuller is looking good. RR8 - came across on a play & couldn’t hold up & knocked Cam Akers on his butt. I cheered & let him know it was a good hit playing haby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Had to add a couple things Robinson & Johnson were signing autographs.Robinson will make this team WAY Before Cutch. To each his own.Saw that there is concern about the team being too young.Right I don’t see it that way. — continue. The Offense IMO is set Perfect with Vets to Rookies. There is really not a young group. -The Offensive Line is set for Depth. There practice squad is going toby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
As for the offensive Line goes ? I don’t know I’ve liked some players better than others ? Joesph Noteboom has always been a player I cheer for. Anchrum never thought much of for some reason(size). Noteboom was The Rams starting LT for the most part. He was in & I told this guy they were in motion & watch Noteboom. He pulled from let to right & turned once he got to the edgby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
More So Ram… Well KD1 wasn’t there.I didn’t concentrate on the DB’s but it’s so hard to tell ?? I can say I don’t know numbers well & no DB stood out. That first TD HOPKINS had Tomlinson was guarding him. I think he even hit him before the ball got there.NO ONE WAS going to STOP Hopkins. DUDE is DIALED IN IMPRESSIVE.I’m like JACKED UP!! Mcvay was as well.He came up to Hopkins & then Tby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
RB’s Cam Akers is finding holes inside. His hood vision & stays low.At the end of practice he ran for a 3 yard TD. His running ias consistent. He doesn’t do that run after the whistle thing.Didn’t see any really if those long plays from him either. —I don’t know how else I can say it but POWER.The Rams whole concept is POWER & Protect. This Mike Lefluer has what he wants to do laid out.Thisby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s So Ram… —Stenson Bennett was outstanding. He took ownership of The Rams offense. 1. Seriously comfortable in the pocket. He keeps his eyes downfield, goes through his progression,& lives for another down, but keep’s pressure on the defense. 2.He brought back what a WINNER he is.That game against Ohio State was one of the most amazing games from a QB ever.He Carried Georgia on his backby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s RamBall… QB drills Allen snpping to Stafford Shelton with Rypien McAllister with Bennett Maginn with Winn Shelton and Allen switched McCutcheon getting a little extra coaching between reps. That now makes 2 positive comments on Rochell now. Could it be the ‘Pleasant Effect’? Nice to hear positives on Tomlinson, too. Doesn’t seem like Bruss is gonna be our starting RG, does it?by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s Merlin… Bruss looked damn good on his Wisconsin film. It's one of the reasons I had high expectations for him. He was physical in the run game and we knew he'd need some time with his pass pro but the guy was almost surely drafted to give us run potency. He might need more time to return from that injury but fact is the guy hasn't looked like the same dude prior to the injury and nowby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s dpjax… That was kind of Rapp’s game though, much more of an enforcer than good in coverage. Watching Lake up close last Monday he seemed to lack energy doesn’t seem to want it as much as some of the other players. I hope he shows out in the preseason games because we’re going to need that “Bigger Body.”by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s So Ram… If you’d followed Rapp’s career as a Ram you’d be able to tell his short coming’s.Lake is a BIGGER BODY! I also think penciling in players right now without much NFL experience is silly. As much as I don’t like LAKE for some reason he seems to proving me wrong. He does make plays, but how consistent is another thing. As much as player are moving in & out ooff the grassby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s #29… We should remember that Rozenboom was a practice squad guy with us before we cut him. We brought him back last year when Travin Howard got hurt. We brought him back from the Kansas City practice squad. Rozenboom has always been a practice squad guy, and occasionally a special teamer when he has been on the active roster. He's penciled in as our other ILB now because he's theby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s Flatlyner… Agree. Higs looked like the top weapon yesterday. Van made some solid mid range catches also.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s Merlin… Higs seems to be having a great camp. Would be nice to see him go off this year. Also re: Puka I have lost my battle in trying to temper my enthusiasm, feels like he's going to help us provided he stays healthy.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s Flatlyner… Speaking of Rochelle, I'm fairly certain I saw him taking rep's in 11's with 1st team a fair amount. Let's hope he has turned the corner. So promising as a rookby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
Here’s bubbaramfan… Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen (you too Merlin), It was a good day of practice for the Rams yesterday, very heated at times. they were really getting after it in 11 on 11. My observations are gonna be vague, I didn't have my voice recorder or a roster with player #'s. Quotepromomasterj Avila on offense and Young on defense. If Hodges makes it to starter it would be 3. Our depth is pretty young, but I don't get all the teeth gnashing over us being a day care with kids running the show. 2 or 3 rookies may be a lot league-wide, but I don't know for sure if that's the case. While not technically starters, there will surely be other rookies getting significaby Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com
CoachO and Mike Franke from back in the St Louis days, for example. But as recently as last year there were 6-10 guys pumping out terrific camp reports for all of us to enjoy. They were among my favorite parts of camp. But this year? Crickets… Thanks again R2K for your fine report. We are in your debt.by Rams43 - RamsFootballFans.com

Lots of juicy tidbits in this piece. Not the least of which was Fuller struggling vs the youngsters in that drill. I like our Safety room. Avila toying with Copeland on one snap then being rag dolled by Turner on another. All in all I think this team will be competitive. My biggest concern is at Edge. Not sure we’re adequate there.
