It says they have it going on. I wish we were in such good shape with a bright horizon.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
We won't win the division. Period.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Hey, I hope the guy turns into a beast. I just don't think a guy goes from zero to 60 over an offseason.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Everett has no presence in the middle of the field. None. It is that presence that can keep this offense at a high level. We concede the middle of the field and I think other teams realized it. McVay has most patterns and Goff gets the bulk of completions at the numbers or outside the numbers. I look at the Patriots...they attack the middle. They don't concede any part of the fieldby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Sports Still unsigned, C.J. Anderson feels disrespected Michael David Smith,ProFootball Talk on NBC Sports 2 hours 57 minutes ago When Rams running back Todd Gurley got hurt late last season, C.J. Anderson came in off the street, and the Rams’ offense didn’t miss a beat with Anderson replacing Gurley. So now that Anderson is a free agent, is he a hot commodity? Nope. Anderson was askedby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
personally, I think we would have opted for Anderson if we could have afforded him. I think the Brown move tells me they aren't in a panic mode over Gurley. However, there still is the draft.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
but I would have preferred Anderson. Cap squeeze probably the final factor.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
They have a good draft and get a couple guys to contribute and they are dangerous.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Lovely story. However, he was a zero factor last year...and now we are expecting big things. Go get Suh back or draft one.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Go no further. Kittle was special. I'm sure PFF will find the angle to tell us Everett was better.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
He's not a TE. Chart is catches. He garners no respect and lines up against the worst DBs and still catches 2 passes...if lucky.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Unless, like I said, he starts to carry the team. I just don't see that from him at this time.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
and using the #1 on an edge pick this year doesn't solve the issue...this year. Now, If Sweat dropped due to the heart condition, I'd run to the podium. But barring a major drop, I just don't think that is the route. The time is now...not next year.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
We have a bunch of guys who do that. I pride myself as a pro personnel guy... I admire the guys who study the college players and feed us the info.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
he can and does talk to him up to 15 seconds. It is what it is. We scored 3 points..I don't care about knocking passes away. It wasn't just that. Look at our total yards in the game. We were doing squat. When did we seem to move the ball...hurry up...yet...McVay wouldn't stick with it. As I've mentioned before, McVay needs to start letting Goff take over the game more often. If McVayby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
He is not a top 5 QB nor should he be paid like a top 5 QB regardless of the timing of his contract. One caveat...he plays like an MVP and wins the Super Bowl. I recall the conversation on this board during the season...do a new deal for Goff this offseason. Well...thank goodness we didn't. Goff is good enough to get to a Super Bowl and win a Super Bowl...but he's not a guy who carrby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought incentives, unless they were likely to be hit based on previous performance, were not included in the cap at all. So let's say, if the incentive is that if Mathews gets 8 sacks, he gets a $1 million. That would affect the cap at all. However, if the incentive is that he plays in say 10 games, since he play in 16 games the previous year, the $1 million incentive would be includedby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I think... I hope they do...but unless there is some restructuring like you mentioned, I don't think it's possible.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
The only position I see us taking on defense with that #1 pick is DT. Otherwise, look for offense.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
that we aren't going defense with that first pick unless it is DT. The edge is solved for now...unless the Rams draft a guy with plans to replace Fowler next year. But why do that? You have the edge personnel you need for 2019 and winning this year is priority #1. I'm smelling OL...which of course, I'm not a big fan of using a 1st round pick.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I've been saying what's up with OO? He hasn't been able to get on the field so if the plan is to win now, do you really rely on a 5th round draft pick? Kiser to me was a non-starter...no pun intended. I really don't understand the issue people have with the cap implications. They worry we had to "pay so much" when Mathews took so little with the Rams offer.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Isn't it about winning? Isn't this an upgrade over Barron's ability? Mathews can play all the LB positions...Barron couldn't. Mathews gives us another option on the edge position...Barron couldn't. Mathews can help in the run...the combination of Littleton and Barron couldn't. Sometimes I think we get a little too caught up in the cap. The time to win is now. This is a totalby jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
is not the answer. It does not solve the problem this year. And they all won't play. I can see drafting an OL early. We need to fill other areas as well. Balanced draft and fill in with free agent vets on OL.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
no way. It would be a shocker to me.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
If the Rams stay in the first round... Offense...OL or TE. Otherwise, I'm saying they move down.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
The arriving FA’s tend to be players that other teams either didn’t want to keep or couldn’t afford to keep. Same difference. McVay has an impact. If a person wants to live in So. Cal. it has an impact. I don't think the stadium means squat in the decision process. Frankly, aside from the guys at the end of their career or trying to resurrect their career, it's, as we've said, about $$$.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm certain he is going to do something financial post NFL.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com

I think we will be looking at 3 - 4th rounders at worst.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
Littleton gets eaten alive by guards. He is a good cover LB and can chase down RBs on the edge. This is why we need a ILB who can fill the hole.by jemach - RamsFootballFans.com
