don't worry... you're going to agree. I have a habit that I can NOT break.... and I'm curious if any other person, most likely a musician, does what I'm about to explain. When I'm driving down the road I am constantly counting out 4 beats that I MUST make perfectly even between power poles. 4 beats between each passed power pole.... all the way down the road for as many power poles as I paby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
As I've told before.... The Miracle On Ice is the greatest sporting event I've ever witnessed. Others may differ about the 'greatest'.... but I can unequivocally say that for me the 1980 Miracle On Ice was #1. I don't know how many times I've seen that movie.... to be honest.... but I can say 50 would be close. And even after 50, (or however many times it's been), I still break out in a sby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
as a Ram fan... can you think of them as anything other than "Vermeils Team"? I can't.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
The game, and we fans, deserve both teams at their best. But can he recover? I have doubts. I don't think that's the type of injury that is going away anytime soon.... but wow do I hope I'm wrong... NOT that I'm pulling for KC... I just want to see a great game. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
After a good nights sleep I awoke STILL dumbfounded that a Pro NFL Player could do something that dumb. And I hear: That some Bengals players are calling him out on it... specifically Pratt, the LB? I'm in shock that more press isn't being giving to that bonehead move.... but I think I know why... no one can believe it really happened!!!!!!!by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Tom Hanks in "A League Of Their Own".... what was his characters name? Jimmy Duggan, or something like that?by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Yesterday a commercial came on for that, during the games, but I paid no attention at all UNTIL... my son-in-law brought it up and began explaining to me to what it was about. Now you have to understand my son-in-law... there is no completely whacko theory he doesn't entertain as 'possible'. So when he began explaining the premise of the show, (it's a movie?), I just did what I usually do wheby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Not only did I also sleep like a baby last night.... but yesterday morning, before the game in other words, I awoke with lower back pain that crippled me. No idea why... slept wrong? I'm old, it happens... but THIS morning.... The back pain is gone. Not only did the Eagles slay the Niners but they also healed me. It's a miracle I tell ya. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
at least for most of the game. That was actually the most surprising part of that game tonight for me.... the Chiefs pass rush. I wasn't expecting that.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
nothing in depth. Interesting matchup IMHO. Eagles I believe are tougher, and nearly everywhere. Chiefs have more magic, far more capable of the 'amazing'.... although in this game tonight that wasn't much on display. Eagles can probably keep Mahomes under 'somewhat' control... and Chiefs can do the same with Hurt. The only 'uncontrollable' player that I see is Kelce... which alone ainby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

The man was outstanding. Granted... not enough data to know "for sure".... and also for the most part his receivers were so open Uncle Rico would have looked HOF.. never the less.... He did what he was supposed to do and more. Today means nothing, obviously.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

Tried to get him to join many times. He does read, occasionally. Excellent fan, very knowledgeable. Also an incredible artist. He carves and paints wooden duck decoys and has won many awards. I’ll find some pics and post them on the Pub.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Not when it came out, not now.... and not a chance in hell I'll 'get used to it' and like it in the future. No matter how chastised I am for not liking it I'm never going to like it. - JamesJMby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
But first... oh sure, I remember the Challenger disaster well. I was watching live here at home. Sputnik.... I was fortunate to have a grade school teacher who was VERY into space exploration; so we were always kept aware of the latest happenings. Hence - I saw the Sputnik mission live. :laughing No, of course I didn't .... but it 'felt' live... in those days. No internet. No satelliteby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
1975.... I can also give you the date. Dec. 21st. How can I do that? It was the day after the Rams beat the Steelers in the Monday Night game 10-3 with a 4th Qtr TD draw by Ron Jaworski. We were there.... one of the best defensive games I've ever seen. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

even though I've mentioned it many times here. Lost everything I had in a house fire back in '91. So yup, that included my LP's... 4 and 8 tracts, all of it. I replaced many of my all time favorites but no where near all the music I had before the fire. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Probably my all time favorite cereal. Hot or Cold. I do prefer Steel Oats, however. And now that I think about it: When I was a kid my grandmother made Cracked Wheat. Add brown sugar, some butter... the best! Similar to Steel Oats but slightly different flavor. I actually like, loved, nearly all hot cereals, (the 3 above were my favorites). that would mean the communication satellites used by Starlink, (and other sat's... maybe GPS, Weather, etc), must have some type of 'engine' that can fire a short burst of propellant of some sort that's just enough to degrade it's orbit and send it to it's death entering the atmosphere. It wouldn't take very much at all... probably even the slightest force would degrade the orbit... maybe evby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
were on my backpacking trips. I'd catch the fish then wrap it in foil with some salt, pepper, maybe some lemon juice if I packed any.... then cooked on an open fire. HOWEVER... I can't honestly say fish is better cooked that way, (even though I believe it to be true), BECAUSE.... Everything in the mountains tastes better.
