Props from the movie were scattered all over Universal City Studios and easily seen from the tour Tram. In fact... for those 'old' enough to remember the movie and with a keen eye some of those props are still lying around.... although today the tour guides no longer mention them. Well.. perhaps some do... I can't be sure. Last time I took the tour I spotted one of the 'cage wagons' lying in rby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'm a big fan of Hawaiian shirts but there's a problem.... not easy to find them with both a shirt pocket AND wrinkle free fabric..... both musts for me. The gear in your link it wouldn't matter.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I think about all we can do is keep trying, adjusting, hoping that thru trial and error we progress toward a more fair and just solution while acknowledging that we'll most likely never achieve perfection. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I was not a fan of "The Andromeda Strain". Just didn't work for me. I didn't 'hate' it... but didn't like it either. Of the other three I guess I'd say "War Of The Worlds" was my favorite... but only barely. They're ALL good. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Like the rest of you I've had innumerable favorites over the years. I wouldn't think of trying to list them all. But tonight I was thinking, "Who do I believe to be the greatest pure talent of all time?". It's an interesting question I'm asking myself because... 'greatest musician/talent' does not necessarily mean my 'favorite'. In fact... that's the case here. This lady I trulby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
:laughing My situation is odd as well, but not as unlucky as your son. I have 6 grandsons and 3 of them were born on Dec. 29th. Christmas is a very expensive time for me. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Actually I did give up golf for a very long time..... injury. Bad shoulder.... I couldn't physically play any more so I retired from the game. I don't remember how long I was in retirement but it was a long time....15 years? Then one day my grandson's were in my front yard hitting golf balls and I thought, "One swing won't hurt me"..... and to my surprise, it didn't. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
just fell out of my refrigerator. I was standing in front of the fridge talking to my daughter. You're about to accuse me of exaggerating. I'm not. The spilled soy sauce covered every item in the refrigerator. The counter across from the fridge. The floor as far away as 15'. Both my daughter and I from head to toe. I either forgot that you're a golfer or you've never said? :laughing Many years ago Trump had a plan for a golf course in Fresno, (closest big city to me).... this was before he was ever President. It was actually more than 'just' a golf course but I forget the entire plan. For whatever reason it never came to be.... I think he had problems dealing with the city planning commission. if it's not dramatic enough - - - - make it dramatic. Had to be one of the most satisfying finishes in the US Open ever! I was NOT expecting that. Not from 65'. You ever get a 'feeling' that you know who the winner will be? I got that feeling on day one, (Thursday). Don't get ahead of me here..... no, didn't get that feeling for Spaun, who won it.... all 4 days I thought Hovland waby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
sound reasoning if you ask me. This is not a Stanley Cup I'm passionate about. Going for the Oilers really for one reason only... small town. (comparatively). Oh, one other reason... I am not a fan of Florida teams. Today is Golf day for me. No, not playing.... although I should. I'll be watching the Open all day. I just love annoying you guys by posting about other sports. :laughing So if my NBA post didn't fry your brain... how about the NHL? You don't need to ask... YES... I'm into it. And definitely OILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First of all... why the hell is there an ice hockey team in Florida? Sorry Gator... but come on! :laughing About a half hour until game 5.... so I win. :laughing Yeah... we qualified twice for that tournament at Spyglass. We didn't do well..... their sandbaggers made our sandbaggers look like amateurs. :laughing We did have a team from Fresno West win it one year... I was not on that team.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
but I think the best Ram photo ever taken..... depicting raw Ram power... was this one.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Many years ago we went to play Spyglass.... 3 of us. We stopped at our local course, (Fresno West, gone now), to get extra golf balls. We told the Pro at Fresno West we were headed to Spyglass and he decided to join us. Our Pro was a damn good golfer... as are most Pro's. Carried a 1 handicap. So we play Spyglass.... I know most here couldn't care less about the NBA BUT..... everyone here can appreciate the stress and anxiety that can occur by watching sports.... in our case the Rams. Last night the Thunder were basically facing elimination... down 2 to 1 a Loss would have meant having to win 3 games in a row to win the Championship. And the game went down to the final couple of minutes.... completely upby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub

I became a Ram fan in the late 50's. I don't remember the exact year... but I'm somewhat sure it was 1958. So I was a fan for 40 years before the Ram's won the championship... NFL then the SB. '99 was a dream come true.... and I remember saying, on this board, that I would never complain again because, BY GOD, I lived to see the Ram's win it all. And I hold to that to this day. At one time I would have thought the same, I admit.... but the FO and Coaching record since McVay was hired had proven itself to me.... same for you I'm sure but what I may see differently is: It has to do with how they prioritize specific positions.... efficiently assessing need coupled with availability. And definitely not to be understated - the confidence they have in themselves to coach.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
A friend of mine had a similar experience. He collected Comic Books. He had thousands of them.... earliest editions of many of the classics. I can't even guess how much his collection must have been worth and one day his Mom tossed em'. :bangheadby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
One of the last I saw was The Outlaw Josey Wales.... and I agree, one of his best. But I think The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is my favorite. And the music track from that movie is incredible. I do not recall ever hearing so much about how tough a course is than I did regarding this year at Oakmont. But is it that tough? Well, the leader is 4 under after his first round with the favorites yet to finish their first round as of this posting..... and maybe 7 other golfers are under par.
