Your position is that "death" is the only criteria? What about those who have had their lifetime shortened because of the virus and its damage to the lungs. Polio didn't immediately kill people-only left many with paralysis -some partial-some total. What would your position have been in the 50s during the outbreak of Polio. And how about measles ? Death rate-minimal-thus no need for alby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
My brain isn't working well right now because I don't recall ever writing that high risk person "need not be vaccinated". I believe everyone -high risk or not-should be fully vaccinated. Remember, being vaccinated doesn't mean you can't get the virus. Being vaccinated impacts the symptoms. I don't get the victimization bit either unless you mean that being mandated to be vaccinated maby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
My dad-a Canadian-not only served in WW 2 but he was killed during the conflict while serving his new country. You don't need to tell me about "risks". OTOH his service to this country was out of his believe in personal obligation to others including his navy mates along with the citizens of this country and other countries fighting totalitarianism. It's not a battle between "persoby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
High risk people need to take further precautions, not young healthy athletes. But because "young healthy athletes" won't get sick but still have the virus they can and likely will pass it on to "high risk people". Clearly, "young healthy athletes can catch the virus We've lost well over half a million people in this country. IMO the ONLY way to end this is a total shby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Well you and I could have a lengthy conversation of the reasons why those policies are in effect. And even after several shots of Jameson's I doubt we would agree on anything. But, hopefully, that doesn't mean we couldn't be friends.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
I'm betting I'm older than you having grown up in the 40s. I don't remember one single mom or dad encouraging their children to get small pox. That is a wise tale and not a good one. What I do remember is not being able to attend public school unless we were vaccinated-and every one I knew did. Of course that was because it was not a political issue as it is now.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com

You could be right. My solution to avoid this is to take the New Zealand approach notwithstanding the economic impact. Here's an article from the Brookings Institute on that approach.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
The benefit of being vaccinated is that your chances of becoming really sick are close to nil. You can have the virus and if your not tested you would never know -assuming you've been fully vaccinated. So-yes-it works really, really well. But that doesn't mean you can avoid the protocols since you can still pass the virus to others by not wearing a mask while in close quarters. Of course some mayby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com

Couldn't respond yesterday as we were all day at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in L.A. Highly recommended to anyone a fan of movies both present day and all the way back to the very beginning of "motion" photography.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
I do follow x Ram players. I don't think that's abnormal either-especially if the player has been an important clog for the rams. I followed Warner subsequent to the Rams and onto the Giants and I was really rooting for him as a Cardinal. Maybe I just liked the "story".by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
The reason I follow Goff is because of how McVay treated him at the end. That was classless and resulted in me not liking McVay and rooting for Goff "to show him". Which he almost did when the Lions came west to play the Rams. As you can see from the highlights of the Viking game this last weekend Goff has an awful lot of stuff which cause the Rams to draft him in the first place as higby waterfield - Bucky's Pub
I think what you are discounting or not hearing is that players may feel a kinship or an attachment to a player who is not a good player-for a number of reasons such as a terrific member of the community, a family man, someone who gives of himself to charity or other fine qualities. They just might like the guy. So, IMO the emotional attachment can or should not be questioned with "I disagreby waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
"people have an emotional attachment to Goff but I don't agree with it." If I have an emotional attachment to someone how can you "disagree" with that. Are you saying I don't really have an emotional attachment and therefore I'm lying ? The point is how can you "disagree" with how someone "feels" about another. BTW: IMO "emotional attachments&by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
Just watched a documentary you might be interested in. Do you recall the 13 boys on a soccer team that became trapped in a cave in Thailand. Apparently they were simply on some sort of hike when the monsoons arrived and the rising water make it impossible for them to get out. They were there for many days without food. This has the makings of the best MNF game all season if not the best game period. A game on both LOS for the Rams could get us the upset win that will change everything.by waterfield - RamsFootballFans.com
The best and only way to have handled that is to be honest. An explanation that would have been true and accepted by all would have been as follows" "Todd has arthritic inflammation in his knee that comes and goes. When it flares up it affects his performance. When it doesn't he's still a dangerous tailback that can win games for us. The Band -one of my favorites. A Canadian rock band that began in Toronto in 1957. Richard Manual was a genuine talent who played all the instruments and when he sang he did so from his heart. Yep. Went to USC on a football scholarship but legendary baseball coach Rod” Dedeaux, said "your too small. I will make you a professional outfielder" He did and Buford had quite the baseball career.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
But not much for a few reasons. The first is our qb was all city (ended up at USC playing baseball and then with Baltimore Oriols in the majors-left fielder for them in the 1966 World Series against Dodgers) The second reason was that I learned quickly that football is painful. I don't care for pain.by waterfield - Bucky's Pub
