in truth I actually still have big hopes for Tutu. I don't discuss it much, however, because it only leads to a mile long thread bashing him.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
remember me saying that? :laughing Well, I neglected to consider one minor thing... to do that you have to remember to put them in. So... this next is said with very little experience... so far I'm undecided. I think I was fooled when I said 'they help' because without question background noises really become audible. But voices, and hearing what's said when two or more are talking at onby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Saw it in the theaters when it came out. I have loved/liked all the Star War Movies... but was less taken with Phantom Menace when it came out, and the following two, than I was with the first 3. However... When I re-watched them all this last month I found I 'loved' them all. I think like most I had some quibbles about the more recent movies but that didn't take away from them being reby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Not one of the most exciting races I've ever seen but still great. :laughing The place was PACKED.... we were 2.5 hours early and had a hard time finding a seat. When we did they were not the best.... too low. Kinda fun, however, as we were pelted with dirt/mud throughout. We sat right at the exit of turn 4. Only 5 of us went.... and I was very pleased when my grandkids got chills durby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
That makes Akers 5lbs under the average..... just doesn't seem that much difference to me to make him more susceptible to injury than the others. I think it is too bad we don't have even one truly big RB.... but then, I'd like to see the return of a true FB. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
But struggling... animation with Star Wars? I watched the first two episodes of Star Wars Rebels... it was ok...NOT saying it sucked by any means... but at the same time it didn't come close to the non-animated movies to me. And I haven't give up... won't continue tonight, (World Of Outlaws tonight)... but I'll watch some more episodes before deciding whether or not to go on. - JamesJMby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I'm asking, btw.... NOT taking a stance here because I'm not sure... but I do admit our RB's don't seem that 'small' to me... Ekeler, for example, is lighter than Akers and Henderson... although taller than Henderson. But that's just one guy... what about across the league? I know of no way to check that stat other than going to every roster in the league and that's too much work. :laughiby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Over the air content, which IS HD, is amazing these days. When my old DirecTV subscription dropped local channels, (this was years ago), I bought a new antenna to get the local channels and to my complete surprise there were 90 over the air channels in my area. All HD. ALSO... no buffering, no glitches, no lag AND FREE, less the cost of the antenna which is around $40. For a while I boughby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
When I took basic training in the Army in our company was a group of National Reservists from... geez, I forget... I think Wisconsin? And all on the University swim team. When it came to the 'endurance' runs, during our training, none of us could keep up with them... not even close. I won't try to repeat it here but they told me about their training and it was surreal... and most of it NOTby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
And when I did I was playing 4-5 rounds per week. And after all that... I held it for about 3 months, tops. Billy Carvalho, you know him? He and I played every week at Fresno West for 40 years. Billy was always a good golfer... I borrowed some clubs from him this week because my son-in-law and 2 grandsons are playing a scramble tournament on the 28th. I had to hang it up many years ago..by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
He's doing the 'girlfriend' thing.... you know, nothing but her at all times. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
IMHO that is... is would I swap Stafford for either Rodger or Brady... and I would not. I can't shake the feeling that due to age both Rodgers and Brady are going to hit a wall... one day on it and the next toast. Of course... at this time they're proving me VERY wrong.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
I can watch any Ram's game AT HOME as long as it doesn't conflict with the Niners... no need to go to my son-in-laws home. When it does conflict I can go to my son-in-laws and watch the Rams as he has no interest in the Niners.... if the Rams game conflicts with BOTH the Niners and Broncos then that's a problem.... I'm be streaming.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
always kind of liked the Bronco's myself. Also... two of my grandsons, my son-in-law's sons, are split.. Broncos and Rams as their favorite teams. Whereas a Niners fan in my immediate family? You think I'm a cranky old curmudgeon now?by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I think I posted this here, maybe it was elsewhere, I REALLY was filled with myself when during our current hearing test... sister, wife, and me... I had the best hearing of the lot. Oh man did I rub it in. Don't scold, you know you would have done the same. I was surprised to learn I only have loss in the very high frequencies... but that's why I hear mumbling instead of distinct words. Soby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I would have written "EX-son-in-law". As it is it's day to day. :laughingby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I just posted something very similar. Ya have to question McVay 'at least' in this last game... actually, I think the entire coaching staff. That's not an indictment of McVay's tenure... certainly not a call for a change which would be laughable IMHO... but everyone makes mistakes, even the best - and when you add all the 'bad' up in that first game it just seems to me that while sure... thby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
He called to cancel DirecTV.... he got jealous of how much less I pay for better service, and as many channels... so to keep him they gave him Sunday Ticket. I'll be watching the game at his house.... which means I most likely won't be on the Game Time Forum... I'll miss you guys. :laughing The only Ram games I won't get are the ones when they play at the same time as SF. I haven't figuredby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
if it's legal OR as advertised. That seems to me to directly conflict with DirecTV's deal with the NFL... but who knows? A loophole?by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
That's exactly what I've been wishing the NFL would do... but to my knowledge that's exactly what they won't do. I believe MLB does that. Maybe the NBA as well. What I have read so far is that Apple's plan for the NFL games, should they acquire the rights, will do that... but who knows?by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
for putting me straight. :laughingby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
Robinson was open a lot... not used. Team from top to bottom was unprepared. Aker's was spoken of in unflattering or at least enigmatic terms and not a word said about it before the game? Powell back to back ill advised kickoff returns. I could go on but, no need - - Now I love McVay as much as the next guy.. hope he's around for many more years.... but I have to at least considby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
thing makes no sense to me. If he was open most of the game 'how to get him involved' is simple... so the same thing only this time remember he plays for you, Sean... he has horns on his helmet.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
is that he was open a LOT that game... he just wasn't targeted. I cannot even speculate as to why that was.... don't really want to because I can't think of a single good reason for it.by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com
haven't been to one since. These days, and probably like your class, they combine years... maybe a decade long of graduation years? Your experience gives me a smile, Steve. You're lucky. I think it's so different for me because being an extremely small town employment opportunities were non-existent... kids HAD to move away and therefore.... lost touch with each other. Or at least... for a few hours anyway. Tomorrow night my grandson's HS team has a bye but I have a nice replacement... The World Of Outlaws is in Hanford, Calif, (about an hour away). near my High School graduation year... a LOT, actually... but none from my specific class year. Two of my High School classmates did the same as me... went into farming and spent their lives here in our hometown, but they both died. Tommy Aguilar.. my sister knew him well. He was also an actor... I forgot about that.. but I think most known for dancing on Broadway.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I remember college very well... and VERY strangely I remember grade school very well, better than High School. Today there is no one from my High School class that I see regularly. There are a few that I see maybe once or twice per year. Just had a visit from a classmate, he now lives in Georgia, that I went to school with from Kindergarten thru High School.. I wrote about it... he's curby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
