He may not ever get to starter status....but he made great strides on the "analytical" side of the game. There were a couple of ill-advise attempts....but for the most part, he read what the defense was giving him and got the ball to the best receiver option. Particularly on the game winning TD....he saw the Defense filling the middle and right side of the field and audibled the RB to set up a few steps out to the left and quickly got him the ball to get the TD.
I know many harp on his mechanics and slow release. I will agree his release is not lightning quick.....but there are a few other good QB's in this league with average release speed.
